The Class 10 – Karnataka SSLC Results 2018 have been announced by KSEEB – Karnataka Senior Education Examination Board at 11:15 am on Monday. The board earlier decided to announce the result at 12 noon but the result was declared earlier.
Also, the candidates can check their results via SMS. A student just needs to send a text message – KAR10<space>ROLLNUMBER – to 56263 and they can get their results on phone.
About 8.35 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examination this time. As per the State Education Board, about 2.73 percent students did not appear for the examinations. A total of 51 candidates were debarred.
As per the recent reports, the overall pass percentage was 71.93%, which is 4% higher than last year. Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Chikodi led the district charts ranking first, second and third respectively while Yadagiri is the last.
2 students topped the exam with hundred percent marks (625 out of 625). 8 students scored 624 out of 625 while 12 scored 623 out of 625.
The Education Minister Tanveer Singh congratulated the students and said, “We are delighted to announce that the exams were conducted smoothly across 2,817 examination centers in the state. Starting next year, a separate examination board will conduct the SSLC and second PU exams.”
