Leverage congratulates Harish Manwani for becoming the new chairman of ISB

Non-executive chairman of Hindustan Unilever Limited, Harish Manwani becomes the next chairman of Indian School of Business (ISB).

Indian School of Business (ISB) is the youngest school ever to consistently rank among the top Global MBA programs. It is one amongst the selected 100 global B-schools to have AACSB and EQUIS accreditation. Also, ISB is one of the largest providers of Executive Education in Asia and the most research-productive Indian management institution.

Effective from April 2018, he will be succeeding Adi Godrej who has been the Chairman of the Board since April 2011. Harish Manwani has been a member of the School’s Board since April 2006.

“I have always been proud to be part of this great institution of learning and am honoured to take on the role of the Chairman. I look forward to working with my Board members and the Dean to help take ISB to greater heights. On behalf of the Board and the School, I thank Adi for his committed leadership. The School has grown tremendously during his tenure. I am delighted that he will continue to serve as a member of the Board.”, Harish Manwani said while accepting his role as the chairman of ISB.

The decision of Mr Manwani’s appointment was taken during the Executive Board meeting of ISB held in Mumbai on Friday.
